Review: Catastrophe Cosmetic

This post is my review on the Catastrophe Cosmetic fresh face mask from LUSH.

'Irish moss gel will soften the skin, whilst almond oil will moisturise and leave it supple.Fresh blueberries are full of vitamins and minerals and are anitoxidant. Rose absolute and chamomile essential oil will reduce redness and irritation. Calamine and talc will deep clean and soothe the skin at the same time.Combined together they provide your skin with a good deep cleanse without causing puffiness – leaving the face cool, clear and calm. This is a deep cleansing mask that it designed for regular maintenance to keep the skin clean and clear. Regular deep cleaning can avoid spots occurring and keep skin in top condition.'

As you can see from the description, the mask is full of natural ingredients which will do wonders on your skin, as nothing is artificial and thereby, it'll be perfect for all skin types which is such a bonus! You must remember to keep it refrigerated when you purchase it, as I forgot when I got home and ran to the fridge to put it in!

I've been using this over the past couple of weeks and after three weeks it actually expires, so make sure that when you buy it, you know you're going to use it regularly as it would be a shame. There's a lot in the tub itself, for the time period which you'll be using it by, which reassured me as I didn't think it would be enough initially.

The smell was absolutely gorgeous and yummy, it smelt of blueberries, it made me want to eat my own face. After applying the face mask, after 5-10 minutes the face mask begins to crumble. When I washed it off, it did leave my skin unbelievably smooth and smelling yummy. The mask also left me looking refreshed and smoothed out any redness around my blemishes or got rid of them!

I would definitely recommend trying a LUSH Fresh Face Mask as it's so good for skin and it's well worth the price, it's only £5.49!

Do you have any LUSH favourites?
