The Makeup | Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum

Now, BB Creams or CC Creams aren't my thing, I need a foundation that's quite matte-ifying and has a medium to high coverage. I'd never have thought that I'd fall in love with the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum, I think the word 'serum' put me off and so I'd never tried it, however, my skin has been quite good at the moment so, I thought I'd give it a go.

With the combination of the serum and the Origins GinZing moisturizer, my skin is left looking radiant, due to it's vitamin enriched formula it gives me an even complexion and makes me look less tired, which is a bonus! Out of the six shades I have number '53' and it's perfect, once blended in to the skin, it's my exact skin colour which makes it look natural and not caked on. The serum hides any blemishes and scarring and according to Bourjois it gives a 16 hour radiance booster, but I haven't worn it for that long, so I don't know if that's the case!

Those vitamins that I mentioned, the fruit formula is made of litchi, goji berries and pomegranates which may be the reason why it smells so delicious. I couldn't get enough of it, when applying it I couldn't stop sniffing the brush and my hand! Weirdo alert! One mega bonus is that the serum feels so light on the skin, completely unaware of it being on my face sometimes.

Would you guys try this out? Have you?

  1. I like this one too. Mine is no.52.

  2. I wear 51 and even though this shade is the lightest, even in the summer it's slightly too yellow and dark for me, but it feels so good on, that I can forgive it.
It really does smell delicious. I've tried to original version too and I don't like it half as much!
