Lipstick Lovin #2 | Rouge Volupte Lipstick in 'Peach Passion'

If you are on the hunt to find a lipstick which has the most beautiful packaging, then YSL is your answer! Just take a look at this particular lipstick and appreciate it's gorgeousness. Besides that, I am someone who is in love with lipsticks and will continue to buy one after the other. I've had this particular lipstick within my collection for awhile now - the YSL Rouge Volupte. I treated myself to this lipstick about two months ago and after getting some use out of it, I thought it was about time to review. I do love this lipstick and would love more, but they are quite expensive to buy regularly, therefore, it's nice that I at least own one of these beauties.

As I said at the beginning, the YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks have to be one of, if not the, most beautiful packaged products ever. The combination of the gold bullet with the YSL signature engraved on it, highlights it away from a basic lipstick and emphasizes its luxuriousness and elegance. Since I've had this, I refused to take it out of it's box that it comes in, however, I've finally gotten rid of the box and let its beauty shine amongst my other lipsticks, it's not just gorgeous on the outside, the product is also lovely.

The shade of this one is number thirteen 'Peach Passion', a pinky-coral. From it's name I assumed that this was going to be a very light orange shade, but the shade does have more of a pink influence within the colour. I do love the colour a lot and like how it looks on my skin tone, because sometimes, I think if the colour is too pale, I don't look so good. Due to its particular shade you could wear it from day to night.

The formula of these lipsticks are amazing. They are so creamy, pigmented as well as moisturising. The fact that YSL have been able to combine these three qualities together is just incredible because they are equal in the way they produce. When applied, it feels like I'm applying a Revlon Lip butter but it doesn't highlight any dry bits on my lips which is a god-send! This is perfect.

The shame about this lipstick is that it's £24.50 and not in everybody's price range if they're looking to find a nice lipstick, it also isn't very long-lasting and so if you're constantly re-applying, you might have to keep buying one! Apart from that the YSL Rouge Volupte lipsticks are simply gorgeous. They are beautiful and I love the way it lasts on my lips. It does feel nice to wack this out of my makeup bag and show it off to everyone. You can purchase this lipstick here
