The Skincare Saviours | Hydraluron & Bioderma

Why my skin is being horrible at the moment I have no clue - I don't have the slightest idea what it could be. I haven't been eating badly, I haven't started using any new products as of late and so, before I was beginning to rip my hair out, I thought I'd turn to my never used Hydraluron and Bioderma, thinking they could have a positive effect. What the issue was, is that I started getting spots beside my nose but on my cheeks and I thought this was odd, as I never ever get spots/pores in that area, so being a skincare fanatic I freaked out. After using these two combined within my skincare routine for a couple of days, the spots/pores started to clear up and disappear or become pop-able (as some were under the skin). I have no idea how, but I'd highly recommend these products absolutely, I know I'm late on the bandwagon with these two but I understand the hype.

Hydraluron is a serum, so is very soothing and cool on the skin when applied. Apparently it uses the world's purest hyaluronic acid which is supposed to restore optimal hydration levels within the skin. The scientific side of it is that Hydraluron incorporates a bio-engineered strain of red marine algae to help achieve the ideal penetration of hylaruonic acid (wowza). Eventually, the serum raises and increases the skin's hydration levels and minimizes the need for constant moisturizing, this has been shown to increase the skin's elasticity and reduce roughness.

Bioderma gently cleanses the skin as it's a mild micellar water cleanser and makeup remover. It was mainly created for people who experience skin irritation and redness, the cleanser is alcohol-free and the formula soothes and cools the skin as it cleanses (similar to the hydraluron formula). The cleanser removes impurities using micelles, which micro-emulsify impurities whilst maintain the skin's balance. There are decongesting ingredients within the formula which prevent irritation, making the skin feel refreshed, clean and free from all makeup, even waterproof mascara - result!

I use Bioderma after I've cleansed and removed my eye makeup, thereafter, I apply my toner and then use hydraluron. It was very easy to add this in to my skincare routine, despite it taking longer in the morning and night, however, I would do anything to get rid of these spots and pores. At the moment, I don't think Bioderma is sold in stores in the UK, so I tend to buy mine on eBay or Amazon but, Hydraluron can be purchased in Boots. I've really seen a difference with my spots/pores, they've cleared up and reduced. Ready to be clear for the Christmas chocolate and mince pies!
