The Makeup | Daily Face #1

I've never done this before *takes a breath*, this is my current makeup look that I've just been choosing everyday and have done for quite a while. It's really simple, quick and easy which is a must for me. As much as I love doing my makeup and taking my time, when I'm in a hurry or just getting ready for the day, I hate taking forever. So, what brands make the cut each morning you ask, I'll show you!

Base - For my foundation I use the Rimmel Match Perfection in the shade '200 Soft Beige', I used to use a brush to blend this in, however, I prefer applying this with my fingers and blending it out as it gives it a much more natural finish yet has the right amount of coverage that I like to achieve. To cover up those blemishes I use the Collection lasting Perfection concealer which is very heavy-duty and then for under my eyes I use the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer, I like this as it's really light compared to the Collection one. To top it off and keep everything in place, I use the Rimmel Stay Matte powder which is perfect.

Eyes - One of my favourite steps is filling in my eyebrows and all I do is use my MAC 266 brush and use the MAC eyeshadow in 'Concrete'. What I've been using on my lids lately is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeshadow in 'Rich Russet', lining and flicking with the L'oreal Super Liner in 'ultra black', as well as applying the Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Liner in 'nude'. Finally, I coat my lashes in one of my favourite mascaras at the moment which is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro mascara.

Lips & Blush - Sleek is definitely one of my favourite makeup brands ever, their products are so pigmented and varied. Therefore, when it comes to blush and contouring I use the blush-by-3 palette in 'Lace' and the contouring kit to contour and highlight, which is brilliant (psst Boots have started stocking them online). After moisturising my lips with the Burts Bees lip balm in 'honey', I've been blotting a Revlon Lipstick in 'Black Cherry', one of the most beautiful dark plums - my favourite.
