The Nails | Essie 'Wicked'

I think I'm going through a phase of loving dark polishes at the moment. The current favourite is one of Essie's in the shade 'Wicked'. When I saw it in all its glory in Boots, it looked like another dark purpley/red, then when I got home it looked like a brown, but when applied it's a very, deep red (mystery of colour solved). Deep reds are a very seasonal colour I think, but I do feel that they make my nails/hands look that little bit more skinnier - weird, I know, but ever since I was younger I wanted thinner fingers. I tried to create a finger diet, as well as exercise my fingers by learning the piano - neither worked.

At £7.99 a pop 'Essie' nail polishes aren't cheap, but they are of good quality. With this, I applied two coats, but it did look nice with one, however, I like to keep it safe and do two. 'Wicked' is definitely a bold colour, but it gives off a classy, sexy feel and I can't stop looking at them. They have chipped a few times, but I was trying to zip an over-stuffed suitcase quite vicariously.
