The Brows | Eyebrow Routine

Excuse the dry nose - not some powdered drug!

Sticking to the eyebrow topic, I thought I would share with you how I do my own eyebrows and I don't think I've actually written how I do them on the blog, so, this is new and exiting isn't it.. not really you sigh. My brow routine isn't extremely strenuous or difficult, but for those of you who are wondering then here it is.

I pluck my brows whenever there are any stray hairs, but don't get too tweezer happy guys, it could go horribly wrong. However, after using my mum's tweezers, which are much better than mine, I am very happy with the state and look of them, which is a first! I like my brows to have a slight arch in the middle and to be quite bold and thick, rather than thin. I'm quite lucky that I have a lot of brow hair as it meant that I had something to work with, I would have found it frustrating if I'd over-plucked and then had to grow them and isn't Delevigne's brows the ones we all crave for?

To fill my brows I've been using a MAC eyeshadow in 'Concrete' non-stop, definitely my favourite brow-filler. It's a medium brown shade which is lighter than my brows, as they're black, but the makeup artist in MAC matched this one and she was right, it's perfect. I feel that if you're unsure of what shade to go for with your brows, definitely just check with a MUA as it'll re-assure you and you might be slightly out and they can help. Before I fill my brows, I brush them through with an ELF spoolie which does wonders, especially for £1.99. To fill my brows I use the MAC 266 brush which is just perfect, it's angled and the size makes it so easy to get those brows done. Thereafter, I run the spoolie over my brows again to give it that natural look and then, sometimes I brush a clear mascara over them but that's when I have lots of time and if I know I'm going to be in a situation where the brows might get all smudgey.

  1. Really want to get omega eyeshadow for my blonde brows, but i'm scared it's going to be too dark! (naked 2 shadow works perfectly, and they both look quite similar!) x

    1. I'm not sure what shade that is - I can't help I'm afraid as I don't have blonde brows :p

  2. You're gorgeous! This eyeshadow looks so good, but I think it would be way too dark for me :( xx

    1. Don't be silly! Thank you, well, I went in to MAC myself and spoke to an MUA and we picked two and then chose this one, it's just safer to go and ask I feel. x
