The Makeup | Daily Face #2

I've changed my makeup look around recently and I thought I would share with you what my current go-to's are. I seem to like having quite a heavy eye or at least wearing lots of eyeshadow and I've even started a love affair with lip gloss which is out of the ordinary for me! So, what are my daily products...

BASE -  For the first time ever I've started wearing a primer and being a primer noob, I decided to choose the Bourjois Happy Light Matte primer and I've really like it. I won't go in to too much detail as I've written a whole review (HERE) but it's super light and apply it before foundation with my fingertips. I've changed my foundation to using the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation and I use a Real Techniques expert face brush to apply this. I'm not going in to too much detail as a full review of this will be coming up. To cover those blemishes and redness I have stuck to my trusty Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in '02' and have reverted back to my Benefit Erase Paste in '01' for under the eyes. To powder various places I have been using the Rimmel Stay Matte powder and sometimes the MAC Studio Fix powder.

EYES -  Instead of a primer I've been using the 17 cream eye base in 'Wild Nude' (can't find it on the website), which is a pale grey/mauve colour. Then, I've been using the Urban Decay NAKED palette (the first one). I apply 'virgin' under the brow and in the inner corner of my eyes, then I glide 'sidecar' all over the lid, pat 'toasted' on top and in the middle of the lid and finally apply 'hustle' in the crease, then blend away! To line my eyes I've been using the Topshop Magic liner, with Rimmel Kohl Eye Pencil in white on my waterline and Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara to finish off the eye. As usualy, I've been filling in my brows with my MAC 266 brush dipped in Mac eyeshadow 'Concrete'

LIP & BLUSH -  I've gone back to my Benefit 'Hoola' bronzer for my temples, jawline and cheekbones. Then lightly dust a mixture of pink blush from my FATE blush quad. To finish off, I use the Along Came Betty highlighter stick which is so gorgeous. After moisturising my lips with the Burts Bees lip balm in 'honey', I've been applying a Barry M lipgloss in '11' which I am obsessed with and it smells yummy.
