The Makeup | Benefit Gimme Brow

Along with my purchase of the Benefit POREfessional, the makeup artist also convinced me to purchase the Benefit Gimme Brow Gel. Like I said before, that woman needs a promotion. This was very hyped about a couple of months ago when this first came out and I'm not surprised at all. It's one of those things that you think you don't really need, but after using it, it then becomes a must-have.

The brush is so tiny with a tapered edge. As it's small you can use it to its full potential and really work it into the brows, filling in every sparse part of your brows and every gap, without worrying about the product going everywhere. I also feel that the brush grooms the brows and tidies the hairs whilst filling them in and doesn't miss a single hair due to its size. I have the shade medium/deep, which is a cool-toned medium brown that matches my black brows pretty well.

The formula itself is a light tinted gel that you can apply in layers to however you prefer your finish. The gel really glides on easily and dries quickly without leaving crispy hairs to deal with. The gel contains tiny fibres that grip on to the brow hair and adds volume. I find that it's so much quicker to use than a powder or pencil, so for days when I'm just popping out quickly, I'll brush this through my brows. However, it is also able to layer over powder or pencil, which is what I do on a daily basis. It really gives that extra punch to the brows and locks it into place.

  1. I love Gimme Brow! I use it on it's own or add a little pencil to it to fill in any gaps :) Great review! xx

  2. I really want to try this! Is it easy to get a sort of defined look? I'm scared of my brows looking messy despite it being a gel! :( Love your blog by the way, so cute x

  3. I have been using mine for a month at least and I like it although in my opinion it isn't incredible x
