The Base | The Body Shop All-In-One BB Cream

I have never joined the BB or CC cream group, as I didn't think they'd be for me. I like my coverage, the formulas of foundations or sticking with concealers. However, a long, long time ago I purchased the Body Shop All-In-One BB Cream. I used it once and really didn't like it, I thought it made me look orange and found the consistency really watery and grim to use. Whilst going through my stash and packing my makeup to move in with Rupert, I came across it again and decided to give it another shot. It does interest me that when you swatch it on your hand or apply it to your skin, it comes out as a white liquid, then once blended in to the skin it transforms into the colour of your face. In total there are four shades to choose from, so you should be able to find a match.

The coverage is quite low, but this is great during the summer as you don't want something heavy on the skin when you're under the sun and likely to be sweating and hot. The BB cream gives a natural finish and leaves your skin looking flawless, as it doesn't look as if you've caked your face in makeup. If you do really like a high coverage then this won't be for you girls, but I love how it gives a dewy radiant glow and gives your face a bit of a lift. This was great for my skin and didn't irritate it or clog any pores, as I have quite an oily T-Zone I was worried it would enhance my 'dewy' look, but it didn't make a difference, so would be great for all skin types apparently. I prefer to apply this with my fingers, as it gives more coverage and a natural, dewy look. I find that it last quite well, but I do use a concealer and powder for those blemishes and the T-zone! At just £12 it's quite a bargain for something so gorgeous for your skin.
