Acknowledging September

As I've been posting continuously about my holiday in Croatia, I've sort of forgotten about the fact that the sun is making less of an appearance, it's getting a lot darker earlier now and I need that extra layer to cover my arms in the evenings. This is also known as September and Autumn. At first I wasn't looking forward to the colder weather, however, I am looking forward to lighting candles, hot stews, cosy nights with blankets and movie marathons. I suppose, when I was younger, I really didn't enjoy the thought of September approaching as it meant going back to school, but I'm actually enjoying this month. There are some things that I want to make sure that I want to do this month, as well as keep on doing.

I have really enjoyed being outside, wrapped up warm, whether it's going for a walk or horse-riding, it's great to just take a nice breath of fresh air. I'm looking forward to cosy-ing up with Rupert, with a nice cup of tea and watching films, surrounded by fairy lights and candles, so lovely. Over the past couple of months, I've hardly given myself any 'me time' and by this I mean, chilled face masks, bubble baths, manicure/pedicure and relax with a candle, reading a magazine or book. As it's been the Summer, It didn't appeal as I just wanted to be outside, however, a lot of stressful things happened/happening, so I think it's about time I concentrated on my self for a couple of hours. Now I have a small compact camera, I would like to document my life a bit more, whether it's vlogging or blogging, simply taking pictures for me, just making sure I capture these memories, to cherish forever. I want to focus on working more and harder, achieving to my full potential, getting some sort of schedule to do things. As currently things are a bit all over the place due to the things that are happening in my life, but this could all change soon and I'll be able to get a bit of structure in my life. Bring on Autumnal September..that's what I say!
