The Skincare | Pixi Glow Tonic

I know, I know this isn't my usual Liz Earle toner, i'm just as shocked as you are! However, I have found a new favourite of mine, this comes in the form of the Pixi Glow Tonic. It's really important to tone the skin after cleansing as it returns the skin back to its normal pH. I never used to understand why this was to be a vital step in my skincare routine, but after some research and nodding my head at the screen, I get it! So, let me tell you why I'm lusting over this particular toner.

The Pixi Glow Tonic is an oil-free, alcohol-free, gentle but strong exfoliating toner. What I love is how the liquid is orange, I love how vibrant it is and is a change from the usual toners you get on the market. In terms of the ingredients, it contains witch hazel which tones and firms, as well as aloe vera which smooths the skin and makes it soft. Also, there's ginseng which is a natural supply of oxygen to the cells and horse chestnut that stimulates the ski and circulation. One of the important ingredients is glycolic acid, as this loosens the excess dead skin cells on the skin, hence making it an exfoliating toner.

This is great for all skin types, apply a little to a cotton pad and run it all over the skin, avoiding the eyes. I use this twice a day, after I've cleansed, which has helped diminish signs of sun damage and reduced fine lines, as well as smoothing out the tone of the skin, leaving me with a radiant complexion. Perfect!

  1. I've been debating between Pixi Glow Tonic and Clarin's Exfoliating Toner. I feel like this might be better suited for my spot-prone sensitive skin xx

  2. Sounds like a great toner! x
