Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream

If you're looking for a 'do-it-all' product then the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream is your guy. After taking this with me away on holiday, I can't get enough of this stuff! This heals things like sun-burnt skin, re-hydrate chapped lips and heal rough elbows and more! I've also heard that this is a favourite amongst makeup artists for various uses and I'll list but a few down below, but I must say that there are an infinite amount of ways the cream can be used.

This seriously protects the skin from becoming dry when it's exposed to wind, air conditioning or central heating. It soothes, restores, calms and helps with minor skin irritations, including roughness, chapped lips, redness and cracked/dry skin. Makeup artist's like to use this to add some shine, for example to the eyelids, cheeks, lips and legs - it really does look lovely on the lips. When applied to the eyebrows it smoothes out the hairs and creates a perfectly, defined arch, which is great when you're in a rush. Another great way to use the cream is for your cuticles, it softens them and smoothes them out, keeping them supple and no longer dry. The cream can soften the soles of your feet or smooth out hard heels. Due to its well-known soothing and moisturising benefits, it's great for an after-sun treatment to relieve minor sun burn and calm sun-exposed, irritated skin. I also thought this was great for when travelling on a plane as it's super hydrating and moisturising for your skin.

With a petroleum base and lots of Vitamin E, I tend to use this for more cosmetic purposes, such as applying it to the cheekbones, on the brown bone and any other areas on the face that I'd like to be glowy. I really like its strong scent, but it may not be the same for everyone, I hear there's an unscented version! I would highly recommend this product, it has many uses, a life-saver and a must-have for your makeup bag!
