Favourite Face Masks

I love a good face mask, it's just one of those things where once you've applied it on your face, it's instant relax time. I have picked four different face masks that are my favourites at the moment, I use them for different occasions and different reasons.

When I feel like my skin needs a bit of a lift and some moisture, I like to use the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight mask. It's very intense when it comes to replenishing moisture in to the skin and contains Avocado oil and Apricot Kernel oil, so it smells delicious. I like to apply this to clean skin before bed and sleep with it on, the next morning I can see such a difference. It brings back that moisture, leaves my skin glowing and super soft. Plus, it's a clear mask, so Rupert doesn't get frightened when it's bed time. If I can see that my skin has got a lot of under the skin spots or clogged pores then I turn to the Soap and Glory No Clogs Allowed Detox mask. You only keep it on for 5 minutes, by massaging it in to the skin and then wiping away with a warm cloth. However, I only like to use this when I haven't got any social plans for the week ahead, as this instantly brings out all the clogged pores, any hidden spots - everything. This is great for when you want to seriously detox your skin and be rid of all! When I've got a bit more time, I turn the Along Came Betty Pore Mask. This is great for targeting greasy spot prone areas, such as my T-zone and around the nose. I like to massage this on to the skin, leave it on for 15 minutes and it cleanses it well. I wouldn't say this as good as the Soap & Glory one, but it is good for targeting certain areas. Last but not least, when we sit down for a film, I run to the bathroom and apply the Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal mask. This means I'll leave it on for about an hour to an hour and a half, then wash it away and get on with the skincare routine. This makes me feel refreshed and as if i've got new skin, it does hit those horrible spots and calms it down/brings it out. It's great for giving your whole skin a refresh/detox and hitting those spots/pores.
