My Top 5 Current Budget Buys

I'm all for luxurious beauty products, however the drugstore really have upped their game in recent times. I don't think I've done a recent round up of my current favourites from the likes of Boots and so here it is.

OLAY Pore Minimizer CC Cream - I never thought I'd be in to the whole CC/BB cream and so, I'm pleasantly surprised that this has become one of my favourites. A full review of this will be up on  the blog shortly, but what I will tell you is that this is great if you're looking for a lightweight base. It's great at evening out the skin tone, covering those pores and also smells wonderful.

Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer - I've got a full review on this HERE, but in short, I love how brightening this is under my eyes. It cancels out any dark circles, veins and makes them look less puffy - great, plus it's nice and light under the eyes! I'm not too sure on whether I think having the sponge is un-hygienic or not, but I am the only one using it and I do make sure my under-eye area is clean before use.

Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder -  I never thought I'd strawy away from my Rimmel alternative, but this has become my new favourite and go-to. It's a great pressed powder and has been compared to quite a few high-end ones too, like Giorgio Armani. It's a lightweight, finely milled formula that smooths over imperfections, whilst adding some coverage and it mattifies any sign of shine without being cakey. Again, there is a full review on this HERE

L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper - Move aside Benefit Gimme Brow, it's all about L'Oreal at the moment. A full review on this will be gracing your presence soon, but for now this a great brow product for when you want to do your brows in under a minute! It tames the hairs, grooms, adds some colour and definition, whilst keeping the hairs in place. A great alternative to the Benefit option.

Rimmel Lip Liner in 'Eastend Snob' - I don't think I've been more in love with a lip liner, I'll go in to full detail soon, but this ultimately, defines, adds a full look to the lips, evens the lip colour and is all round gorgeous. It's a warm rosy pink and a cheaper alternative to Charlotte Tilbury's Lip Cheat in 'Pillow Talk' I hear.

  1. I've been meaning to try the Olay CC cream but not quite sure about the colour range. That Maybelline eraser concealer looks brill! x
