One Of Those Weeks

It's been one of those weeks where I've been feeling really de-motivated about everything and I don't want to do anything, which I find really frustrating, as I always have the longest to-do list all the time. At the weekend, Rupert went away for his birthday to Bristol, so I took the opportunity to really crack on with things that I wanted to get done and I did. I was so pleased that I'd been really productive all weekend and I felt so ready for the week.

Come Monday morning and I just didn't want to do anything, I managed to film a video, edit it and film some things for Rupert, but that was all I did. Tuesday I was in London working and I was forcing myself to walk to work, once I was there I got plenty of things done, but it was such a bad day. It was one of those days where everything you had in place went crumbling down and it wasn't just me who had a bad day, but Rupert too. We decided it was one to forget about and went to bed watching 'Monsters Inc'. Wednesday was a day of "I refuse to do absolutely anything", I was supposed to have a skype call for work and it was no longer necessary, therefore didn't happen and so I dabbled in working out my blog schedule, as well as video ideas, then some work for Rupert, but really.. de-motivation at it's highest point.

I won't do the whole week, but you catch my drift. Do you ever just have one of those weeks or days, where you just feel so un-motivated to do anything and want to do nothing? This was my week and the picture below just says it all. I'm not moaning about it, well I am, but I know that there are worse things happening in the world. But, I'm more annoyed if anything, as when you're in a state of not wanting to do anything, you literally can't get yourself out of it. I tried so hard to get out of it, making myself work, doing some writing, etc, but I guess you can't force it and you can't help having a bad day, that's out of your control. Here's hoping that next week will be way more productive and hopefully no bad days in sight!

  1. I think everyone goes through days like this. I seem to find myself in a de-motivated rut when I feel overwhelmed with the amount of things I have to check list off my own to-do list. Chin up chick x

  2. I have had as super similar week, just felt fed up of everything, and the slightest things that wouldn't usually bother me really got me down this week! Feeling much better after having a fun filled weekend, so hopefully this week will be better. Fingers crossed your week will also be better this week :)

  3. I've had a week exactly like this! Things have just been going from bad to worse, but just think... that week is over now and you can start completely fresh!! Little tip, break the list down so it isn't really long and daunting! Its so much easier to have lots of little lists, everything seems much simpler to complete :) xx
