Looking For Hairspiration

I've been uhmming and ahhing about whether to change my hair style or not for a couple of weeks now and what with it being the New Year (psst.. happy new year) it seems the perfect time to get the chop. However, before heading to the hairdressers, research needs to be done and for this I head to Pinterest

If I had a tip for anyone when it comes to getting your hair cut, always, always take a few images with you so the hairdresser has a clear idea of what you want. They can't read your mind, you need to tell them what you are looking for. Currently, my hair is extremely long and I love it to bits, so much so that I'm still coveting my long hair over grabbing the scissors and saying adios. Therefore, Pinterest is great to browse on what my hair could possibly be like.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley could not have had her hair cut at a more appropriate time when it comes to persuading me to say bye to my locks. She looks amazing, but I can't help but think that it only looks great, due to the fact that she's a model and if I were to get it done, I'd probably look like Matilda or something. Another gorgeous hair cut is Lauren Conrad's, she looks beautiful with short hair! However, again she's one of the most stylish and gorgeous looking women on the planet! I tried to see what I'd look like with short hair as you can see in the bottom photo and I'm definitely undecided.

I don't want to get the chop and totally regret it whilst crying in to my pillow, not that I'm being dramatic or anything. I reckon that I'll have to do some more research, before I make my final decision. I also have this thought that my face is really round and so if I get my hair cut, it'll make me look even more fuller than I am. Or am I being ridiculous? Do tell.

  1. I had hair like yours until last spring, when I went for the chop. I kept putting it off but once i got it cut I was so glad I did, I don't regret it at all. Rosie looks stunning! x
