A Sunny Dog Walk

Last Monday morning, after the school run, I took this little doggy for a walk. We live in such a nice area where we are surrounded by endless amounts of fields and there are many routes to take for a lovely walk. Despite it just being me and the dog, I didn't feel alone and I quite liked that I could just be with myself and just walk. The weather was so lovely, sunny and warm, it really felt like Spring was on its way, shame it didn't last for long - I'm currently in literally 5 layers, listening to the wind and rain right now). We walked for 45 minutes and I didn't think about anything which was such a nice change. Usually, I'm always thinking about something or worrying about something, even before bed, but for the first time in a long time, my mind just went empty and I was just appreciating my surroundings and how happy felt walking. Also, before I went on the walk I was thinking about going back to bed as I was so tired as I wasn't able to sleep for the past couple of nights due to Rupert being away and after the walk, I had so much energy I completely forgot about crawling under the duvet and shutting my eyes. I highly recommend going for a walk to get some fresh air, immerse yourself in your surroundings and get some exercise too!
