Beauty Loves: March 2015

I'm not keen on doing monthly favourite videos at the moment, so I thought I'd give it a go in written form, let me know what you think. There have been three products that I've been loving for my eyes at the moment. The eye pencil that I'm obsessed with is the Eye of Horus Ultimate Brow Define, I have done a full review on this, so I'll be brief. Very pigmented, with a slimness to the pencil that makes it easy to hold and adjust and lasts for a hours. To make sure the pencil stays in place, I like to brush through the brows with the L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper. This just adds a bit of gel-like pigment to the brows and doesn't leave it sticky or crispy afterwards. To make sure my flick game is strong, I've been choosing the Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner. With it's budget-friendly price and the dreamy finish when I'm done making a mess, it's amazing! For some reason, my flicks have been on point since choosing this as my liner staple.

When I say only two things have been gracing my lips for the past month, I am not joking! I don't want to go in to these two too much as I'll be doing a separate review all about these babies. Every day, I've been pairing MAC's 'Soar' lipliner with MAC's 'Brave' Lipstick and oh my is the end result good! If you want more of an idea then head to my youtube channel as it's the only gracing my lips. I love how moisturising the two are, it literally stays on my lips for about 5-6 hours and I feel like Kylie Jenner when I've slicked it on - which is always good.

If you follow my blog closely then you'll know I've done a full review of this foundation already. The Sisley Phyto-Teint Expert Foundation has been a perfect base for my daily jaunts in to London for an over 12hr day. It's light on the skin with a medium to full coverage and is the perfect shade that blends in to my skin perfectly. I love the scent of the foundation and for any of you asking, I only use one and a half pumps of the stuff - concentrating on the centre of my face and move outwards. To give that extra kick of the foundation staying on, I've been using the Kiko Mat Base Corrector Primer. I found this a bit tricky to start with at first as it's different to my Benefit Porefessional. It's brilliant when you're used to the texture and its super quick drying time. I like to put a bit on the back of my hand and then apply tiny amounts to various areas of my face one by one, to really blend it and pat it in to the skin. I then wait for it to properly dry and then the rest is left to do!

Some miscellaneous products for you. I've turned to a bit of an oldie perfume here, for about a week in the month - Marc Jacob's Daisy. With top notes of strawberry and grapefruit, it has a sophisticated yet luxurious scent with heart notes of gardenia, jasmine and violet. It does have quite a floral and whimsical feel, with base notes of musk, woody and vanilla - my favourite. I've had quite a bit of spot scarring on my face and to get them to disappear and heal, I've been using a sample of the Heal Gel Intensive. It's a skin rescue gel which soothes, restores and protects the skin. I apply it as much as I can to the area I want to solve and its improved my skin immensely. A full review will be coming up on this next one, but I am obsessed with my mini Wet Brush. It gets rid of tangles, knots and all things stressful! Last of all, my lips are kept moisturised by using the Cowshed lip balm, it smells so yummy, like limes and lasts for hours.
