I'm a major skincare fanatic and my regime is very important to me, both morning and night. I genuinely do tend to stick to it, even if I'm super tired and have a full face of makeup on - it needs to come off. I've always been in to skincare, my mum taught me from a young age that it's really important to look after your skin. Plus, nothing beats the feeling of having a clean face and applying moisturiser. I really wanted to try the Clarisonic, but due to the price and the reviews of it being very harsh on the skin and leading to breakouts etc, I stayed away. However, I was very excited to try a new cleansing gadget, that comes in the form of the Foreo Luna Pro*. I'll point out that my skin is slightly oily, but with my recent allergic reaction to nickel, my eye area has become very dry. I find that it can also be sensitive if the product I use is very harsh and abrasive on the skin. So, bear this in mind for the following review, as it could be different for everyone.

I absolutely love the packaging, it's small, compact and extremely light, unlike other cleansing brushes which can be bulky and heavy. It comes in a range of colours, but my magenta one is exclusive to Look Fantastic - amazing! I think it's a passive plus that nothing has to be changed, no brush heads need to be replaced, but this is designed with silicone and isn't essential. It's very easy to clean and hygienic due to the silicone being nonporous, therefore being resistant to bacteria buildup and doesn't absorb dirt or oil. It also has amazing battery life (lasting 300 times before needing to be charged), therefore making this the perfect product for travelling.

Now to get scientific on you, the Forea Luna Pro* is a facial-cleansing devise that directs T-Sonic pulsations through an ultra-hygienic silicone brush. It provides a gentle cleanse by channeling sonic pulsations across the skin's surface, leaving it smoother and more refined. The cleansing device removes makeup, dirt and excess oil with four different settings for you to choose from, depending on your skin type. I was unsure as to how we would get along what with the silicone 'bristles' being very soft and didn't think it was going to provide a deep cleanse. However, it's very gentle and soothing, leaving the skin squeaky clean and it almost feels like a facial at the same time. Once i've done a brief cleanse with a micellar water, I then apply my Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel and go in with a second cleanse, working the product into my pores and all over the face. What I love is how quick the process is, it's only for a minute and automatically pauses after 15 seconds, allowing you to move to another area of the face to clean.

I've found that it leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth, as well as having a natural glow. I haven't seen any signs of it bringing on a breakout, but I don't get that too often, until it's "that time". I can definitely tell you that it's a great device for cleansing the skin and removing the grime, oil and makeup. It's perfect for absolutely everybody as you can use it to your own needs with the different options of settings. If you're really in to your skincare or feel that you need to sort out your skin, this would be worth investing in. It's available to purchase in a range of colours from Look Fantastic.
