Sunday Coffee Chat | 19.04.15

The week started off well with a long to-do list that needed to be completed and I managed to get the majority of it ticked off at the beginning of the week. I'm actually heading back from Newcastle as you read this, I left on Friday to spend some time with my dad and sisters. It's been very film related this week, so I hope that's ok, here are the links...

+ As I was drifting to sleep the other evening, Rupert was watching a film called 'Zero Dark Thirty'. I instantly became hooked and found it really interesting, it's a chronicle of the decade-long hunt for Osama Bin Laden after the September 2001 attacks and his death in May 2011. We follow a detective called 'Maya' who has been working on the search for years and it's just super interesting.

+ Rupert weirdly had some free time at the weekend and we watched a film, we wanted to see in the cinema but never got round to it. It's called 'Chef', you follow a chef called Carl who loses his restaurant job and starts up a food truck to reclaim his high status as a chef, whilst piecing back his family. I loved it, like I knew I would, I mainly just like seeing the food, but it was also a great film.

+ This week was the last episode of 'Better Call Saul', it was good, I mean they made it very open for another series to come. I don't think it'll ever be better than 'Breaking Bad', but it's interesting to find out more about some of the characters and how they got to where they are. I am glad that I started watching it though as it was still good.

+ I've been loving my Bloglovin' app this week, it's such a great platform to catch up on all the blogs I follow. There's nothing better than sipping on a cup of coffee and scrolling through my feed, reading different posts. I love that all the blogs I follow are in one place and I can categorise them as well - amazing!

+ Whilst I was watching 'Chef' this week, I couldn't help but say various times "ooh I love this song". The soundtrack is soo up my street, they're very feel-good and dancey songs. I've been listening to it non-stop, take a listen if you're up to seeing what I mean, also they're not very mainstream so you might not know of any!

+ Not a link here, but I need some from YOU! I need to purchase some smart but nice clothing for another internship that I'm starting soon, which has more of a dress code than my previous ones. Can you send me some suggestions for nice smart/casual outfits? You would be life savers - I don't know where to start!

+ Last week I uploaded a makeup look, something I haven't done in a long time! It's very spring related and I only used drugstore products, hoping that everyone will have access to them. You can take a look and give it a thumbs up HERE
