I thought I was done on the CC cream front, I'm happy with the Olay one and that was that. However, after many people were raving about the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC cream, I had to give it a try. I've been using this as my first choice of base for quite a while and I'm very pleased with the outcome it gives. It's a bit of a long one with the name, but the 1-2-3 nature comes from the three different colour pigments; white for disguising dark spots, apricot to fight fatigue and green to combat redness. I love that it's an oil-free formula as I can be partial to a slightly oily t-zone and it also boasts of 24hr hydration, as well as SPF 15 - which is always a bonus in my book.

At first application, I thought that I was going to need a lighter shade and was fretting about how I'd need to get another one, however once it's blended there isn't a hint of it being too dark for me (Rose Beige). The finish is very natural and skin-like, it's not matte or satin, but I don't find it dewy either. It sits in the middle of the two, giving a natural soft-focus effect to the complexion - a fresh and luminous result. I'm really impressed with the coverage for a CC cream, I do still like to apply a bit of concealer around the nose and on any blemishes.

There are four shades of the CC cream, which does cover most Caucasian and some mixed or Asian tones (me being one of them), but unfortunately there aren't any options for darker skin, which isn't great. I'm alright with the packaging, it might have been better with a pump as the formula is a little runny, but for the price I think it's a great addition to your base collection. Thanks Bourjois!
