Sunday Coffee Chat | 24.05.15

A busy week again with London, seeing friends, working, spending time with Rupert and all that jazz. We're getting closer and closer to the summer months and I'm freaking out a bit about planning and what I need to do etc - oh dear! Here are some of the links that I loved this week...

+ I've started my new book and you're not going to be surprised when I tell you what it is.. I'm back on the Flavia De Luce series! I am so excited to be reading the seventh book, 'As Chimney Sweepers Come To Dust', and more than ever am I wishing that it gets turned into a film or programme which I could audition for! Already hooked in to the story and can't wait to see what happens!

+ I've been on the hunt for a trench coat or a light jacket, but they seem to be so expensive everywhere I look or they're cheap and they really look it. I've got my eye on this one from ZARA, but who knows if I get the courage to be so mean to my bank account.

+ This week's Stylist has been published and for the first time in a long time, I've really enjoyed this issue! I feel like sometimes they can be quite hit and miss, but it's had a bit of re-jig on the design front and I was interested in quite a lot of the topics they featured too. I do love picking one up on a Wednesday morning on my commute.

+ As you know I am a big lover of 'Game of Thrones' and think it's just the best, well.. the love has grown immensely. For Red Nose Day Coldplay teamed up with the cast to create a sketch to raise some money and it's just amazing. It's worth the 12 minutes and you can find it here

+ I love horror films and I can pretty much watch any of them without being scared. Rupert and I thought 'Insidious' 1 and 2 were pretty scary and now the third one is being released next month. I can not wait, I've watched the trailer three times, possibly more and I highly recommend if you like horror films!

+ I watched a video this week that I am too appalled by to leave a link to. I'm sure you must have seen or heard of it too and it's of the 14-year-old girl punching a boy various times which was caught on camera. I can't believe that it happened and props to the guy who didn't retaliate, the girl has a serious attitude problem and I can only hope that she learns from what she has done, now that has been convicted. Sometimes it really scares you to think what some people in this world can be like.

+ Keep your eyes peeled for a video at 6:00pm GMT tonight! I enjoyed filming this video as I share with you something funny that happened to me at work this week. Leave any video suggestions of what you'd like to see from me on my channel too.
